What is Hear and Do ?
Hear and Do is a ministry that seeks to provide churches with high quality small group Bible studies at an affordable price. We do this by selling teacher manuals and student manuals through Amazon, and then providing training materials, promotional materials, and printable handouts free of charge. Buy a handbook for your teachers, buy the accompanying student editions if you so desire, and we take care of the rest.
Why that title?
Hearing and doing is a theme we find throughout the Bible. Moses told Israel to hear so that they would be careful to do God's laws (Deuteronomy 5:1; 6:3). Jesus declared a blessing on those who hear and do His words (Matthew 7:24; Mark 13:20). James similarly reminds us that we should be both hearers and doers of God's Word (James 1:22).

In many ways, these two simple words sum up the goal of all good Bible study. We are to both study and apply, to learn and to live out, to hear and to do God's Word.
Who's in charge here?
These Bible studies are written by Pastor Ben Hicks for his home church at Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Ben is the Associate Pastor, which means he writes studies like these and does a lot of other really random things.
Those snazzy looking graphics are by his one in a million wife, Brittany. Together Ben and Brittany enjoy producing these studies with the goal that they be a help to others, while also keeping their 3 (soon to be 4) children alive.
